Let’s keep the music alive and evolving in our city and beyond
Launched in 2024, the Zurich Jam Session creates a family-friendly space in the vibrant Langstrasse where musicians and listeners meet in a spirit of openness, respect, and curiosity—connecting through the shared language of improvisation.
Curated by La casa de nadie and hosted by José Pino, each session begins with a concert that places a strong focus on auteur music and transcultural collaboration. Artists from diverse backgrounds come together to present projects that move across musical traditions, artistic practices, and cultural perspectives, setting the tone for an evening of exploration.
From there, the concert flows into an open jam session, where the boundaries between stage and audience dissolve. Musicians from the opening act remain part of the process, inviting others to join and co-create spontaneous, unrepeatable moments. Audience participation is welcome—bring your instrument, your voice, or simply your presence.
Whether you come to play, to listen, or to discover something new, the Zurich Jam Session offers a space where music is lived, shared, and constantly reimagined.

Admission: Free, a solidarity contribution of minimum CHF 30.- is recommended (students/AHV CHF 15.-). All revenues are directed to the artists of the opening act. We accept cash and Twint.
